Friend had 2014 Accord CVT fail at 13000 miles during first year of ownership. Limped it to dealer and they replaced it under warranty but did not say what had gone wrong. Dealer was not allowed to open up the tranny before sending it back to Honda.

1-ton GM van with 6.0 and 6L90 went from 16 mpg on E10 regular ($3.99) to 13 mpg on E85 ($2.69). Had better response and did not downshift as much on hills. The stations near me don’t have price spread wide enough to justify E85 most of the time.

Usually no waiting for E85 pump and the price spread right now saves me five cents a mile.
