I changed out to Royal Purple Synchromax in my GMC sonoma...it made not difference in shifting.

I own a Hyundai veracruz & dropped out the original transmission fluid & refilled with RP Max ATF, shifts better than ever!

The silicone sprays or coatings are not good for your sensors, They will cause problems if they get to a sensor.

I fish salt water all the time, the best grease I have used is the Amsoil syn. water resistant grease. I have not had any bearing problems in 4 years. I do clean & repack bearings 1/ year. i had tried Mobil & RP syn. greases but they did not hold up.

For rusty nuts & studs Kroil is the best I have ever used.
