I will probably try the Valvoline.
I heard that water in the system can produce spongey brakes too. I bled the system some when I did the pads & rotors in the front as I also replaced the front calipers. But it didnt change the same spongey feel.
My brother has an 03 Camery (his is an 03 XLE...
4sp Automatic with Inline 4. Front discs, rear drums.
Want to flush out the old stuff and fill with fresh fluid. Brake pedal is spongey.
Gonna replace the rear drums at the same time. Just did the front rotors and pads. (Duralast Gold)

Im sure you guys get the same questions over and over again and it gets annoying. Same thing happens on AVSForum, where I share my expertise.
I did notice that 5w30 seems to be the most popular oil at Walmart. The shelves seem to be empty on that class compared to the others.
I just used 10w30 because that's what Toyota recommended. I suppose more cars are now recommending 5w30 in their manuals these days.
