Value Priced Filter Recommendation for Prius

I have three Toyota Prius' in the family that I maintain and I was looking to buy some filters in bulk to have on hand All three cars have 5k-6k OCI so I do not think I need anything too special but I would like to make sure I get a reasonable quality filter at what hopefully could be at a value...

    Can I use 5w30 in a hemi w/o mds??

I would not worry one bit about the 5w30. Different engine but I have almost 100k miles on a chrysler 3.8l that was speced for 5w20. Even a couple changes of 10w30. The engine seems just fine.

Anyone familiar with LG portable AC units?

I cannot speak to the issue the original poster is having but I have been very happy with the two portable AC units I own.

Chrysler changes the oil spec for 2013

I'm actually surprised the engine was speced for 5w30 to begin with. I realize they have been more resistant to going to a 5w20 but they have had engines over the years that spec'd it. Like my 2005 3.8l GC.

2009 Dodge Journey SXT - Tranny Oil & Filter

I am not the original owner so unfortunately the warranty does not apply to me. Since I need a special tool I cannot check the fluid myself and therefore changing the fluid on my own doesn't make since if I cannot check the fluid. Unless the tool is cheap enought I could purchase one and may do...

2009 Dodge Journey SXT - Tranny Oil & Filter

Looking to change the tranny fluid and filter on our 2009 Journey with 132k miles. I am getting different opinions. Some info states this may be a sealed transmission with a lifetime warranty and other info states that this can only be done at the dealer. I cannot find a dipstick to even change...

Which 20 wt oil is likely to get my Hybrid THERE?

I own a Prius, which has been an excellent vehicle, and am looking at a Hybrid for my wife. I was looking at the Escape but was not sure how well the Ford Hybrid systems are holding up. I was concered about the Hybrid drive system and/or the Hybrid battery holding up over the long haul. It seems...

How much is sound deadening going to cost?

I have done several of my own vehicles with very good success. In materials I usually spend $100 to $200 depending on how involved I want to get. It is rather labor intensive, not necessarily difficult, just time consuming. I have no idea what a shop would charge but I would think $300 to $500...
