thank you
I could never find anything in the manual about the oil except that it recommended oil that meets this ms-6395.
Nothing else about blend or full synthetic. I know GM has that Dexos ratings. I would prefer a blend at least.
I bought a 2018 charger brand new and have had the oil changed by dealership ever since. I recently just happen to look at one of the receipts and noticed the oil was basically conventional by the part numbers. Car has 25k on it now. Would it be safe to switch to a blend or a full synthetic at...
I went to Kawasaki website and they list the 20w-50 in the new manuals but mine it does not for the same motor. I will look into the new 10w-40 Amsoil commercial oil around my area and I will change the oil with it when i know i should be done for this year. I will go on and use the 20w-50 to...
I stopped by dealer and wanted to pick up some Amsoil for motor and they were recommending the 20w-50 . Nowhere in manual states that viscosity. What is the opinion of others. I prefer the 10w-30 full synthetic and just check the level often because multi-viscosity can get used on motors like these.
what do you do if a tire gets damage and there is a 10000 mile difference between the rest of the tires. Is it ok to buy the one tire and still rotate as normal on front wheel drive. I ran into this on my car. the tire was the same brand and size that I replaced. should I worry about any...

When using blended or synthetic oils, does the oil filter need to be different as far as inside material or does the same oil filter such as PF48 that is used on conventional used for the blended/synthetic oils out there.
I have read too many articles that the repair does not guarantee the fix. No need to go inside a motor and end up having same issue. Also I have done the consumption test with the dealer and it meets the standard. So GM will not touch it right now anyway.
I have an '07 Silverado that has a little bit of oil consumption caused by AFM. I am reluctant to have the issue corrected by GM so I was wondering if there is some oil that may help with the consumption. I have been using VWB 5w-30 since day one. Truck only has 40k. GM is aware of the oil...
