2006 Speed3. ~26K on the bike, 3,200mi on the oil. Mostly commuting and ~50 mile weekend rides, a little hooning here and there. Shifting got a little notchy towards the end (probably from shearing down) but still fine to me. Wear looks excellent. New oil is the non-synthetic 15W40, I was going...
Haven't seen many UOAs for GS500, nor running this oil, so figured I'd post this. Didn't come out nearly as bad as I anticipated.
The fuel dilution might have come from the short trips I had been doing with the bike - my commute was 7 miles each way and I didn't have much time for longer...
Was going to suggest looking into Diesel oils like Rotella 15W-40 or even the SuperTech 15W-40. Since you're not doing super-long runs on it between oil changes, you shouldn't have to worry about oxidation, and the ZDDP levels should be ~1500ppm in those oils.

Unlike the outside, the interior mostly doesn't get dirty unless you make it dirty. So I try to avoid eating in the car, tracking in dirt, etc.
Every time I wash (every 2-3 weeks) I shake out the floor mats and dust all of the surfaces with a slightly damp cloth. Every 6 months or so I remove...

My car sees similar use (garage queen, "spirited" driving but only after warm-up) and I changed at 3k/2 years. Didn't do a TBN (darn!) but the wear numbers were pleasantly low.

Take one for a test drive, and you will understand.
If you don't understand, then it is not the car for you.
By this logic, why do motorcycle manufacturers with 0.6l displacement motorcycles charge like $11k for it? They're like...
Yep. It's a DIY job fortunately, just involves lifting the engine slightly with a jack and everything else should be easy peasy.
If it goes out again you can get a solid aftermarket one, it will last longer but maybe vibrate a bit more.
