Truck has hit 145K, with 5k on M1 0-40 SN and a Fram Ultra. Some clean up but not as dramatic. Truck leaks some oil via the pan gasket.

This unit was on a 1990 F150 for 17,000 miles. Pulled it off to replace and the filter is rattling around. Placed back inside to see how it was doing nothing but possibly blocking the flow. Sad.

Son adjusted the TV cable and it seems to have helped. He is going to check the ignition components. and drain, replace the filter and fill the trans fluid with M1. Have read about rotating the motor to access a plug on the torque converter to drain it. Is this a safe practice? Not sure how...
