I guess that brings a good question...If a new car owner were to choose a short OCI in hopes of removing manufacturing/breakin particulate, is it more important to change the oil or the filter? I choose to do both.

Again I think this is personal preference. If you search oil anaysis on both of these oils you will find similar additives. Both PU and HM have tons of Boron. HM may give the added benefit of seal conditioners for high mileage engine.

Here is what I did:
First of all the PCV wouldn't budge and I didnt force the issue. Work with it a little later.
Changed the oil with New Formula (40%) PYB and Wix oil filter.
