I know this is OLD--however, what would you use to refresh the grease in the inner joint of a Honda CR-V? I've heard Deere's polyurea or Schaeffer's 219? Thoughts, advice, general ramblings, rants?

I'll *try* to slide a 16g needle under there and inject that thick grease in....yes, I know, golfball through a garden hose. The point is, if the axle needs to come off, it'll be replaced. I'd rather replace the axle altogether, rather than unfurl that greasy mess to replace the joint. I need...

Fair, but I'm asking about grease at this point. Please, someone humor me. I know the boots come with the grease...the axles may be worn and need replacing, but it 20 mins and $10 gets a couple years, or yields no result, then I'll know what needs to be done next.

Likely, but 20 mins and $10 is better than a $300 OEM Honda axle atm.

There are threads about it. Grease breaks down...over 15 years. You wouldn't waste your time, I get it.
