    I don't consider ESP a long drain oil, so EP would get my vote.

    Anyone here ever run a smaller than spec filter?

    I've started to use CQP 84502 (FL500s size) instead of Motorcraft FL820s on my Ford 5.4. They seem to have less tendency to leak down past the adbv, causing less start rattle if sitting for days between starts.

    The extractor will not be necessary. 09 3v has updated plugs that don't break or blow out.

    I would (and did) look it up with Chevy's parts finder if I had any questions about which filter your vehicle takes. It is PF64, cross check that model if you want a different brand.
