I going to use the ATF return line method. I have used this flush method successfully on my 05 Tacoma. I see many...

Aftermarket vs OEM AT Filter for 2014 Toyota Rav4?

Looking for feedback on a good aftermarket AT filter for the U760e Toyota transmission. The OEM filter is basically a metal screen so I'd like to replace it with a better filter. Thank you!

DIY ATF flush on 2013 Rav4 auto trans.

Drain and refill replaces about half the total fluid capacity. DIY flush is time consuming but not difficult. I will just attempt to put the Rav4 in ATF Temp Check mode. If successful I will proceed with a flush. Thanks all.

DIY ATF flush on 2013 Rav4 auto trans.

I have performed an ATF flush via the trans return line on my Tacoma. However, I have not found any information to confirm if setting the ATF Temp mode is the same on the RAV4. If anyone has performed this procedure on a Gen 4.4 Rav4 I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks

    05 Tacoma drain/refill interval

I have been changing coolant in my 05 Tacoma 4.0 at 30k intervals using Toyota SLL. I am currently at 147k with no signs of leakage at water pump. Considering either extending the interval to 50K or switching to Zerex AF to reduce my cost. Your opinions are welcome.

2013 RAV4 ATF Temp Check Mode?

Does anyone know if the Gen 4.4 Rav4 can be put in ATF Temp check mode in order to know when the ATF temp is correct for checking fluid level? I have done this for my 05 Tacoma by jumping pins 4 and 13 on the ODBII port. Thanks!

First time flushing an 05 Tacoma

I have never flushed the cooling system on my 05 Tacoma. Just drained and refilled with Toyota Super Long Life every 30k (apprx 2 yrs). Should I use anything else besides distilled water? Once the coolant has been drained and distilled water added how long do I allow the engine to idle? Any...
