    Yes i normaly run valvoline and purolator filter( over 30 years) that day the autoparts was out of my normal valvoline white bottle 10w30w, i had heard go stuff about german castrol so I took the plunge plus all that stuff about 5w oil, probably goto valvoline semi 5w30w next...

    Well its been a little time now, it starts up slightly faster, the ticking a cold start less,Jeeps suffer from this. runs smoother, seat of pants feel. I am hoping thsi will help conserve a little fuel and wear and tear, we will see when I send in for oil analaisys.

    the 5w20w is for federal miliage standards, i personaly would not run thiner the 5w30w, i am not sure if penta star is all aluminum or iron block and aluminum heads, on iron block thinnest i would run is 5w, no 0w. i am running 5w30w on my iron head and block 4cyl now, wouldnt go any lower.

    what color is oil other then brown or black?? if is tan colored then it may be contaminated? oil does not normally foam( aka bubbles) unless overfill or contaminent? (aka coolant) have someone check it, better be safe the sorry.

    Hello jeeper If it says ATF4 then get ATF4, seen to many trans ruined by wrong fluid. ATF4 is even avaliable at wally world in generic brand bottle. Oriellys and pep boys and many more. stick to factory fill, and you wont go wrong especially since you probabaly have a good warranty left. OOPS...

    Hi jeeper here the new penta star had a series of engines problems , piston 2 and valves in that area, dealer may or may not cover, have it checked and complain loudly and civily to force them to get it fixed under warranty. do search you will see rash of engine head problems for that engine.
