Aside from the Moly looks on the weak side,i'd be leaving it on the shelf.

It's supposed to have a TBN of 8, 300 ppm moly, 2500 ppm Calcium, 830 ppm zinc, and 760 ppm phos. Hmmmmmm

I was just comparing it to the PP 5W-30 that John posted earlier (Thanks John for these reports!) and it looks pretty similar. Val Max has more moly but the PP has a little more boron but other than that pretty comparable on paper. Has anyone seen a VOA or UOA of the Val Max Syn. Blend?

The older SL looked quite a bit better -- on paper anyways.
