Switch to synth–Mann W917

This is my 1989 Volvo's first run with synthetic. I've owned for 2 yrs and I can't prove it hasn't used synth but I highly doubt. I thought the pics might be of interest.

Details:

Vehicle: 1989 Volvo 745 turbo
Mileage: 130K miles
Oil: 3L XD3 0W30/1L XD3 15W40
Mileage on oil: 6K miles
Makeup oil: 2 1/2L XD3 15W40 (it did have some leaks)
Duration on oil: 9 months
Driving conditions: ~70% trips >7 miles.

I was expecting it to be more "clogged" with dirt, considering some of the stories I've heard when changing from dino to synth for the first time. After 6k miles, this didn't seem too dirty.

I have a colleague who can do Energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDS) testing. I may go ahead and get one of these chunks o' dirt tested.

Unless it's already been done?
