I used to buy these filters at KMart here in town, but they discontinued carrying these along with AC Delco....all they sell anymore are the shitty Fram crap filters.......
Does anyone know where to buy Castrol MaxPro Plus filters.....they are really good.......

They were made by Wix/Dana. there may be other sources, but K-Mart was the only place I ever saw them.

Thank you Touringpro !! Excellent information.
Didn't know that the Penske brand was also from Dana!

Seems like KMart and Dana dissoved that relationship recently since they are getting out of the Penske and Castrol line...........at least here...must have happened after theri Chapter 11.....

Alex D, yes, Castrol Max-Pro are (were?) made by WIX/Dana/Gard Corporation.

Despite the fact that K-mart has cut back on these very competent filters, you can get essentially the same filter from NAPA ... just ask for their "Silverline" filters. These can be had for around $3 each. Their "Gold" filters are also made by WIX and are better ... but nearly double the cost.
