1.9 SOHC Saturn engine. Unknown miles on filter. Oil used was AAP brand 5w-30 (made by WPP). I measured the media at approx. 112+ sq. in (50" long x 2.25" wide). ADBV was hard but still worked, as there was plenty of oil still in the filter almost a week after I took it off the car.

WOW filter looks covered in sand, lots of stuff in the center of the pleats. Looks decently made, probably a nitrile adv.

Construction generally looks pretty good on the DW, this one is no exception and it caught a LOT of junk!

Efficiency is either unknown or around 80% depending on who you believe.

As always, thanks for cutting and posting!

Looks like it trapped lots of [censored]. Would be easier to see with the media wicked out a bit. I wonder how much of that sandy looking stuff came from cutting?

That's a great looking filter, all things considered. Wish we knew the mileage, and the efficiency data!

And agreed, thanks for hacking it open. I have a thing for cutting oil filters open that nobody else (aside from you guys) seems to understand...

I've run 3 or 4 of these. My only complaint is the ADBV, as the OP already mentioned. I did have my oil pressure light stay on a few seconds longer than usual with one as well.
