HI-bought 5W-20 for $2.99 qt, full synthetic but can't find anything on this site as to whether anyone else has used it, how it worked, who makes it, etc. Now 3000miles into my change in my 09 RAV4 4cyl and no apparent problems. Maybe Citgo makes it like some of their other oils. Any thoughts?? Thanks Bill

Well may be a Citgo oil , though Conoco/Phillips does lots of private label oils too .

At that price, you can be certain you will get what you pay for!

There is more difference between synthetic oils than there is between non-synthetics.

Most will meet the minimum standards. Some will greatly surpass the minimum standards.

used to get Dixie Belle gin for about 80 cents a bottle (in Germany, late 50s). Beefeater, on the other hand, ran about $1.
Of course, shortly thereafter, our government decided that we should "buy American", so they raised the price of the Beefeater, other foreign brands, and beer.
And, even so, most of the American beers collected lots of dust.
