I feel like my supply of 6 per vehicle is excessive, of course I use quality oil and follow the service manual and OLM which is 7500 miles and >8 months for me. I was even thinking I should follow the Civic manual with every other oil change getting a filter change. I feel the best deal on oil or filters in not to throw away half used products.I was even thinking I should return some P1 filters that I paid more than ~$3.

So forget the picture (well, not entirely)...I bought a NAPA Gold filter for my Hyundai yesterday. It was the last day of the Gold sale and it came to $4.40 with tax, so I decided to pounce. It's a $14 filter, it showed the regular price on the sales ticket. The guy said it would easily go 8-10k if I use synthetic and drive responsibly.

So, that makes 12 for the Hyundai, 14 for the Toy.

LOL! at least it was a great deal. Now, time to close that closet and not add anything else to it!

I am curious with your two vehicles being similar in age and miles. What has been your experience on reliability and mileage?

If there's ever a shortage of oil filters, you guys can make big money by selling some of your stock at an insanely high markup, and still have enough filters to last for a while laugh.
