Jetta takes a cartridge...what is the real difference between silver and pro select? 7.5k OCI for me, so looking for a good filter, but dont need to go nuts.

Thanks

Just get the Silver and call it a day. It is a great product line.

Fram cartridge filter CH9911 looks very high quality at reasonable price. Amazon has it for $8.97/ea with free shipping for order of $25 or more. Amazon also has K&N HP-7010 for $9.62/ea. Rockauto has Fram for $7.83/ea but you pay shipping. If you like to buy from Rockauto, then MANN HU7196X at $8.42 is a good buy. Buy a bunch to reduce shipping cost per filter. Also, get the 5% discount code for Rockauto.

If you can get either Napa Silver or Pro Select for less than those price, I would go ahead and buy it from Napa.

great filters-napa pro select are reasonably priced, and well built. i use them and purolator classics. the only two brands well made and won't break the bank.
