I'm sure we all remember the 'ecore shocker' thread:

http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1807522&page=1

Where I promised to cut open the $3 Napa Pro Select 21348 that I replaced the ecore with.

Well, here you go. If the Saturn can be this gentle on a cheap $3 filter, there's no excuse for that ecore to have failed in this application.

Oh, and don't forget that should the cheap ol' NPS media just tear apart, cause we all know they tear sooo easy, there's a nifty thing called a solid center cage to hold media back, maybe you've heard of it:

Hope you enjoyed the pics and of course my sarcasm grin
