I like this topic... my car lives between 3000 and 6500rpm+ (been up to 8000rpm) everyday so I want something that will flow lots and resist the aggresive driving, autocrossing, and drag racing.

For now I use GC but I wanna try a 0w20 in my Spec

Toyota is just copying another German auto development.

ACtually for this application It think you might want a 75W-140 gear oil so the thick oil keeps the engine running nice and slow wink

Rotella T6 5w40 synthetic would be a good option and easy to get.

What is considered high rpm? For 6k (most I will take my car) I am using PYB in signature.

This is the only stuff I use for high RPM applications, good to 19,000.

Hi,
friendly_jacek - It would be preferasble to use a viscosity (for ambient) as recommended by the engine's Manufacturer. A lubricant with excellent anti-foaming abilities is desirable and most HDEOs are very good in this respect

I would say no oil, that way the engine will lock up.
