My Mag Hytec pan and Suncoast external filter arrived for my F350 (5R110W) slobber and I would like to know what ATFs are compatible with the LV recommendation from Ford...

Is the Mercon LV syn from the factory? For some reason I believe so. And if so, I suppose I would just go with whatever is least expensive on the market.

I have found out that AMSoil makes one as does Mobil 1. Does anyone know if D4 from Redline is compatible?

Thanks

Best bet would be to call Redline. I think D6 would be a closer match, though.

Ah probably since it states it is for the Mercon SP, which I believe was replaced by the LV.

Guys/gals, yes I am aware AMSoil is compatible... stated that in my first post.

Asking WHAT ELSE is that is on the market. This way I can price out other products and purchase the best for the least price.

The words compatable and suitable is scary if you look up the meaning.
