Yeah the esso oils are great for this climate.

Because I'm an Amsoil dealer, I was trying to stick with something I could get for a good price.

the 4.0L will run happily on just about anything, but seems to be the happiest on a heavy duty oil.

whatever you do, change it regularly and i guarantee that motor will outlast the rest of the Heep

I am currently running the Amsoil Signature Series 0W-30 100% Synthetic Motor Oil in my Jeep's 4.0 as I wanted to give it a try.

I have run both the Amsoil 10W30 & 5W30 for several Northern winters with no issues. To be honest I could not tell any difference when cold starting on the below 0 days.

I think I will stick with the Amsoil Signature Series 0W-30.
