I know its a bit silly to ask for people's opinion on a less than $15 tool. But want to avoid buying every 4-in-1 on the market to find out which one is best/most durable. I have a Husky 4-in-1 bought from HD made in Taiwan. The bits are still in good shape however the 3/16 hex in the handle is damaged/stripped. And didn't take much effort to damage it. Its a very useful and quick tool without having to bring my tool bag for a quick job. So I want a sure bet replacement for the Husky.

A typical 4-in-1 should have 3/16 in. and 1/4 in. flat tip, No. 1 and No. 2 phillips, 5/16 in. and 1/4 in. hex. Something made in USA and can be bought locally at Sears, HD, or Lowes. Lifetime is a plus. Right now I'm leaning towards the Craftsman 4-in-1 Screwdriver with the clear plastic handle.

You know the best one I have has no name on it at all. I bought it at ACE Hardware when my wife was working at one. They where cheap and most of all it had a bit that fit my 22 pistol perfectly. I have had it 15 years now still going strong.

If Snapon or Klein make on I would imagine those would be well built I own both in various tools.

Autozone used to sell a Great Neck 4n1, had an orange handle, and I wish they sold them again! they were durable, strong, and they had replacement bits for $1!

Klien one I have is over 5 years old and it has seen ALOT of service.

I tried a craftsman one and it was horrible. I have it in my gun cleaning kit now.

Thanks for the suggestions. Found the Klein Tools 11-in-1 Screwdriver/Nut Driver at HD in the electrical section. For $13 and change. Its $16 online.

I was sold when I saw these features:

* Heavy duty shaft provides tight, solid feel.
* Industrial strength, heat treated bits.
* Cushion-grip handle for greater torque and comfort.

Made in USA.

I have a Klein 10 or 11 in one I have had for about 6 years, used to use it a lot when I worked for my other job but not as much now but I will never get rid of it

Klein 10-in-1 is great if you have a need for torx or robertson drives, otherwise their 4-in-1 is top notch.

Channelock also makes a nice 4-in-1.
