Nice job. 2001 is the tail end of that generation. I would expect tweaks would have been made compared to the start of the generation. How's the transmission? Actually, the 2001 is a completely new model. The trans is good so far. Just changed the fluid today.....usual black material on the magnet.

Congrats!
How many miles have you been running the Amsoil in the tranny? And how often do you change it? Amsoil for 170k so far. I used to do the 3x drain-fill-drive-drain-fill, but now I just drain and fill it every 30k.

Thanks everyone. Trust me, you've all helped me keep it going to where it is today. I joined when this car only had about 60k on it.

207,895 miles on my 83 Silverado with the 305, engine has never been touched except for an alt, water pump and fuel pump, all on 3K oil changes with Pennz dino and Fram 2qt oil filters No way an engine will last over 50,000 miles unless a botique syn oil is used.

This might shock some here but I have easily done 200K miles with Ford engines...I did it with the 4.6,302,390 and the 289...Got the 88 Town Car up to 300K miles with the 302 engine.
My 1988 Mustang GT has 194K on it. It will probably have 200K by March, depending on how much I drive it between now and then. I'll be sure to snap a photo of the odometer reading 00000.0 The 1995 Ford Contour I used to have is still on the road with 230K or so. 2.5L V6.

Somehow I find this hard to believe. The post on the Honda site was entered back in June, the vehicle is a 2003 model so lets assume that the owner has had the vehicle for 7 years. 7 x 365 = 2555 days. 805,000/ 2555= 315 miles a day. Put another way, this vehicle MUST have been moving at an average 80 miles per hour for 4 hours EVERY DAY since 2003 for it to reach that mileage in 7 years. Or you could drive at 55 for 5 3/4 hours, but who would spend that much time in a civic? Multiple drivers? maybe. Change the numbers around any way you want, 6 days a week, the car on the road 12 hours a day whatever, what do they use this vehicle for? Other than 2 sentences on that website, is there any other info on this car? That car should have a website like this Ford van with 1.1 million miles.

I got 167k on my 96 sunfire. I'm not driving hardly anymore. But I'm going to keep it to try to reach to 200k

The 2001 Civic and I have made it above 200k as of this morning. To date, the only non-wear items that have been replaced are the thermal overload circuit on the AC compressor and the alternator. 10k Platinum oil changes, Amsoil ATF keep it going. And 80% highway miles help as well. Congrats! :) If you keep maintaining it, your car will carry you for another 800K miles trouble-free, unless, of course, you get sick of it before it breaks. We should be grateful to the Japanese engineering.Without it we would be forced to inferior D3 products and D3 would not have the competition that forced them into quality improvement. There are plenty of big 3 cars w/200K plus miles on them. I'm glad there are Chevys so I don't have to drive inferior nippon products. 800K? Give me a break.

You just opened a can of worms. My sons 96 Accord ran him out of house and home with repairs. Now that he can afford to drive anything he wants he drives nothing but Fords. 2005 F150 and 2006 Expedition.
