After 7 years, and 120 miles of Napa Syn and Synpower, I'm changing the diet in my 2002 Sentra to Maxlife 5w30. No issues at all with the motor, just being proactive to keep her running another 100,000 miles. I recently switched over to Maxlife in my 2004 Camry. No issues here either.Good oil I think.
Thoughts?

It is a good stout oil.
You running the red bottle or silver full Syn version?

IMO if your engine was running fine and well looked after then there is no need for MaxLife. It's a great oil but I would stick with SynPower. I find the HM oils are for people who didn't really look after their engines all that well and need something to help clean up the leftover mess and get them a few extra miles.

I can never find Maxlife full syn silver bottle around here, but If you can find it at a similiar price to Synpower, I say go for it. It's a great oil.
