Anyone remember the Pennzoil Purebase commercials

Just wondering what they were about, and why they don't advertise Purebase any more.

My guess is that Pennzoil was one of the first to use group II+ base oil and they called it 'Purebase'. Now that a lot of other oil companies use it Pennzoil stopped since they are no longer unique.

I don't think I've ever seen a pennzoil commercial. Lots of Castrol commercials over the years.

Actually "hydrocracker" would be a swimming caucasion Why is it okay to make a joke like that about caucasians? If you had done the same thing about a non-caucasian then everyone would be offended... back 2 oil now plz...

I wonder why the didn't name Pennzoil Platinum, Pennzoil FreeBase, since so many here get high as a kite on it.
