I keep hearing and reading people say "use name brand oil and you should be fine" so what are the name brand oils other than obvious ones(pennzoil, mobil, amsoil, castrol, valvoline and red line)?

There all great oils, so yes, they are name brand.

Any API cert. SM or SL oil, regardless of brand, will serve you well.

One of my Jeeps is running Stop&Shop (Grocery store) generic 5W30. It's made by Warren Unilube.

I don't consider Amsoil or Redline to be name brand oil perse because there more of a botique oil. But anything at Walmart but Supertech or Accel.

Proline isn't made by warren, it's made by Conoco Philips.
This is evidenced by the MSDS.
