Continue on and stay positive. I wouldn't exceed 3g of Vit. C per day and you may consider increasing fruit and veg. intake, but don't go spending money on supplements because you are already sick with what(??), I don't know, but sick.

Take it easy. Try to eat, but something easy for digestion.

If you experience shortness of breath, get to the hospital or doctor immediately.

Geez.

Take 50 Mg. of ZINC!

Proven to be an anti-viral and cuts sickness time in half when taken near first symptoms are noticed.

Nothing like going to the internet for medical advice instead of the Dr.

The internet is a lot cheaper, and reaches a much wider audience. Of course sometimes you get what you pay for. Sometimes you don't.

The incubation period is much longer than a day. But you could have contracted it earlier.

If you are generally healthy and don't smoke, hopefully you will cope with it well. On the other hand, if you have health complications or smoke, be very careful and see a doc if you feel like you should.

What business is it of yours if the OP is asking for advice?

If you don't like a thread that is fine, but don't [censored] in it.

If you are in a high risk category, your physician will probably Rx Tamiflu, which is a potent antiviral. I can't speak for the US but up in Ontario, Canada, symptomatic high risk groups have Tamiflu given to them free of charge.

If you do not have a fever, then it is most likely a nasty cold and you can ride it out.

I had it and it started off with a bad running nose then a day or two of the fever. After the fever left I thought I was doing pretty well but then developed a pretty bad cough and mild sore throat. After another week with the cough it got into my ear giving me a severe earache. My ear has been plugged up for two weeks now and rings like crazy.

You might want to take an OTC decongestant to help avoid it getting into your ear. I wish I had done that.

It doesn't seem bad at first but watch out as it seems to follow up with a sucker punch to get at you a second time around.
