From a suggestion here I decided to wash clay and apply Meg's Color X to my 93 Aerostar. I was going to apply paint cleaner polish, etc and decided to take the lazy mans way out. Anyway it actually looks very nice. There is no sun out today and it is quite comfortable. I have a sudden burst of energy and was wondering if I can apply Collinite 476's on top, today? My question is can I do it today or should I let the Color X cure?

I like to run with the sudden burst of energy I have today, but???????

I decided to go for it. I did the hood, the Collinite came off easy, looked good, so I went for it. No problems that I can see, and if there will be any its too late now! LOL

LOL. Not sure what came over me today. After doing my E-150 a few weeks ago. Wash, clay, cleaner, polish, wax, and then about another week later a coat of Collinite, the little Aerostar was a joke. It looks great!

There is no cure time for ColorX. It is simply a mild polish.

Thanks, I top coated it with the Collinite that same day, no problems. I'm pleased with the results. Thanks for the info!
