This is the Blackstone analysis from my first yearly OCI on the 99 big block Suburban we bought last year as a tow vehicle. Unfortunately it didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped :)

On a side note, Blackstone actually called me today after they ran the sample to tell me the bad news. Excellent customer service.

I was hoping to use this analysis to see how well the engine tolerates a yearly OCI but I guess that'll have to wait until next time.

Now I'm off to the Mech/Maintenance board to start resolving this problem!

Definitely. And fortunately it's not a daily driver although it was scheduled to tow next weekend.

It doesn't look like it's snowballed yet due to the fact that it hasn't lost much coolant for a while but on the other hand, I have no idea how long it's been going on since this is the first fill of oil I ever put in this vehicle.

Thats a good size leak. I wouldn't drive it much except to the repair place.

Yes +1000 for Blackstone. Great service.

That's what I'm guessing. Hopefully I'll know for sure pretty soon.
