The ZDDP levels are more then GF-4 limits. Is Edge GF-4 rated?

Mo/B ratio with Ca.

P and Zn numbers are notoriously inaccurate. Especially in VOA's. I wouldn't get too excited about +/- 100 ppm.

Pablo is correct about the variance in numbers. The VOA link that I am pulling ASM data from has 2 labs the discrepancy is about +/- 100 ppm and higher.

Probably LZ, but Mobil 1 was using similar ratio's, no? XOM doesn't work with LZ AFAIK.

Not in the least. But after so many years of seeing how inaccurate P and Zn numbers are in ALL lab reports, one learns to jump to no conclusions.

I will have a VOA soon of 5w30.

So far, I am very happy with my choice in Edge.

The Boron, Moly, Zinc, Phosphorous and Calcium numbers are all much higher than I would have expected. Perhaps this oil will meet all the hype.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the high levels of metallic additive elements. This is a rare thing from a major motor oil maker these days. This is in stark contrast to Mobil 1 EP XW-30.
