Wow. Hard to believe! I know the 3.0 Ford is a low wearing engine but even with 28k on the oil this report is amazing.

What oil was run previously?

ASM is awesome.

Clayton... thanks for the help..

There was no make up oil or oil filter change during the run.

I used MC 5W-20 since new until last year.

Wife is a HS teacher and drives 84 miles/day round trip to work on county/state rd in the 40-60 mph.

Note:
I have a UOA with the same ASM oil for our '05 PT Cruiser Turbo, but haven't sent it in yet. It has 11K miles on it.

So 84 miles round trip or 84 miles one way x 2 = 168 miles daily? (HS teachers don't drive to work as often as normal people)

No make up oil or filter change?

What filter?

What time frame? (ie from Jan to Dec)

Was this your first run of Amsoil?

Did you do the flush or auto-rx it?

Thanks, bill

PS: Anyone? What is the starting TBN for this oil?

Round trip is 84 miles..

MC filter

First run with the oil

No Auto-Rx flush, but i have used it several times in the kids used cars. IMOF, I'm using it right now in a '04 Kia 2.0L.

Time frame is about 12 months with summer changes.

I was going to say the same thing! Usually the runs we see this long have bypass filter setups. The fact the TBN is still good is amazing.

The oil was above the add line.

I've ran the car on MC 5W-20 for 8K-12K miles and never had to add oil at any time.

It just doesn't use oil...

We get 25-28 MPG.
