The YZZF1 is about a half inch longer. The A1 and A2 filters were the older design by Purolator that used depth type media and the funky bypass valve.

Some people don't like the F1 and F2 because they don't have glued on end caps. However, the bypass assembly and leaf spring assembly is secured onto the end of the centertube by the leafspring pressure which is perfectly fine - better IMO - no glue to get messed up!

I'd use the F1.
