This is a great deal! I picked up 5 qts of the 0w30 Green Cap yesterday!

It doesn't say "no UPC required" on the rebate form. Do we need to submit the UPC for the oil bottles? Or just the M1 filter UPC?

D@mn. Good catch--I didn't read the form carefully enough when I sent mine in. I only included the rebate authorization receipt, but probably also should have included the UPCs for each oil bottle as well as the filter.

Kragen doesn't require UPC for oil or Techron. Come on, who would cut out a UPC from plastic bottle before using it?

Valvoline only requires the ring seals on the caps.

I called the rebate support line, and explained my situation. In summary, they said that all I have to do is give them the UPCs over the phone once my rebate has been entered into their system, and I should be good to go. Unfortunately, my rebate still hasn't been entered into the system, so they suggested that I try back in a couple weeks.

...hopefully, they're not just blowing smoke. We'll see.

Good news--it turns out that PandaBear was right. I spoke with the rebate support line today, and gave them my info.

The support person explained to me that they did NOT need the UPC info; they merely needed the SKU info which was already provided on the rebate receipt that I mailed in.

After looking up my info, she found that my rebate has been successfully processed, and that I should to receive it on or shortly after June 13.

Got my rebate. Whew!
