Looks good, but the oil sheared a fair bit. Is this a new, SM low-ash formula? B/C if it is, I'd expect to see Ca higher, and Zn lower, not the other way around....

Looks good. Is this the oil used/sold at MB dealers?

The oil starts out at 13.3 cSt, the low end of the 40 grade scale.

Yes ths is the new oil for gas engines.

Thanks for the link to the oil - looks like pretty stout stuff - 13.40 cst; yet 3.8 HT/HS.

Are you sticking with this oil in the engine?

No I did a interm oil change and used M1 0W-40.

Looks like it did pretty good. Odd how M1's 40 weights love to shear into the 30 weight range every time. As long as you know this, and your car doesn't mind, it's fine. Just like M1 0W-40 shears, it still sends back good UOA's.
