Results from a virgin bottle of SPIII used is Mitsu, Hyundai and Kias I had in my garage since 04 maybe 05. I shook the crud out of it to make sure it was mixed and this is all that came back. Since there are no other VOA's or UOA's that I could find I thought I would post this one and I am going to do a UOA in July so I needed something for a baseline. OAI did the testing.

This looks WEAK. TBN 2.4?? Sounds low as well, but we usually see TAN for trannies.

Looking forward to your UOA, and thanks for posting this.

I was thinking the same thing, almost no calcium at all

. I'll see how my UOA on the factory fill comes back. This is exactly the fluid my dealer refills with though, if I was to let them do something I can do myself that is.

Boron will make up for some of the lack of other AW/EP additives. Its another Zinc-less ATF(look at Toyo T-IV and Nissan Matic UOAs/VOAs).

Pretty low dose of everything. Look at the Honda Z1 VOA for comparison!

Mitsubishi requires changes and TBN is fine for the 30k. Ash may increase the life but causes wear.
