Decided to have it tested after seeing some other folk with these vehicles show some odd results.


Tested by Peterson Fluid Analysis (Caterpillar) Eugene OR

when did M1 5w30 have 130PPM of moly??
 
Good to see but I sure would like to see UOAs for the DI engine in an 09 Acadia/Enclave/Outlook/Traverse.

His results are what made me decide to test mine. Now I feel better about my own rig. Put goodwrench 5w30 conventional in it at this change, will run it about the same distance (until the end of summer) and have that tested. OLM read 50%, so at least I know I can trust it for synthetic..
 
Interesting. Hope you have continued good results. I'm due to send in a new sample as soon as the kit arrives in the mail. It will be interesting to see what this next sample will be like.
