Removing the wiper tray on a Chrysler minivans makes plugs easy, and the radiator comes out the top, rather easily. No wonder GM doesn't make minivans anymore.

This assembly belonging to a CRX looks very similar to whats on my 91 Honda Civic Si, and since parts are shared between the two, it must be the same assembly.. Please advise

Vehicle manufacturers were very reluctant to mention anything about safety in their advertising. I believe Ford lost sales of their 56, maybe 57 models because Ford said they were designed with safety in mind and went on to elaborate on the new saf

Well it looks like the clutch/brake assembly needs welding. I can see cracks on the metal horizontal cylinder that is located between the clutch and the brake assembly. As I depress the clutch pedal, I can hear squeaking and cracks are seen expa

It just one of many examples of packaging over practicality The designers don't turn wrenches. Your Venture may not be good but it's far from the worst.

The Miller Cycle engines were pretty cool, as long as they were running and under warranty. We had like 3 techs who would work on them, and they loved seeing one come in with misfires and oil leaks. The parts are expensive and labor times are high.

Costco works for me. If you don't like there stores and their system don't go. Gasoline alone is worth the price of admission.

I don't think you are supposed to check the level unless something happens, like you see evidence of a leak. In our ZF 6 speed auto, you are supposed to start the car cold and level, shift it through a couple gears, turn on the AC and pull out the f

Just to show how inaccurate bombing was in WWII: After WWII the USA used the Battleship Nevada in atomic bomb testing in the Pacific (along with other ships). They painted the battleship a bright orange color and tried to drop an atomic bomb on it.

I understood what you originally posted but perhaps you should have asked it more simply: "Why is a drain and fill considered acceptable for transmission fluid when it would be unthinkable for engine oil?"

I dont get a charge of this kind. This must be a California thing. M1 @ 4.66/qt is a decent deal. 2.79 /qt for chevron is just as good.

You make fair balanced points NHHEMI. I will just stick to my Owner's Manual recommendation of 7500 miles for the 2.4 and 5000 for the 2.0T. I preach peace-of-mind on here often. I'm going to follow that edict.

What I was trying to do is draw an illustration, roughly comparing a Trans D&F to a hypothetical motor oil D&F. Yes, I am well aware almost no one really does this, with the exception of beaters with high consumption which add top offs only.

Costco works for us. We actually use it primarily for the groceries. Their prices on organic are great. Some items we won't buy because the quantity is just too much. But there are many things you can get through eg Apples (an apple a day), cheeses,
