What about Rotella T6? I would not bother with any Amsoil oil unless its their top shelf signature. The others do not make sense to me.

Preferably experienced with Subaru. I know I keep posting about my car, '09 Forester. But today it's done something that I think narrows it to maybe a calibration issue with the Electronic Throttle assembly on the throttle body? About a $600 part.

Any of these oils should work as well as any other. Delo is pretty well thought of, so if you find it to be the cheapest, so much the better. WRT oil life, any of these oils would go an easy 40K in a big rig, but none of them will do that in any pass

I talk religion with my mailman, who is from Iran, and converted to Christianity. Nice guy. I think they do it for one reason, to save gas. They are going that way on more cars now, engine turns off at stops, restarts.

Oils containing a lot of magnesium tend to have good TBN retention. Is that the newer 2.0L TSI engine that holds nearly 7 quarts of oil?

I have EP 5w-20 ready to go for the next two oil changes on the Ford Focus. I can run 10k OCI's within warranty with the driving style it is used for (70% hwy/30% city). Though not published it is pretty much accepted that all Castrol Edge products

My moms Elantra received frankenbrew'd oil changes the last 3 OCI's. I didnt notice any cold start suffering, but I imagine it being a "newer" car had something to do with it. A strong starter and battery make a huge difference.
