Is this something the oil companies don't know and left out of their oil formulations? These small additive companies are sure smart to figure out stuff the real oil companies can't figure out for themselves. I'll bet they don't even know how to pinc

My sister is about 20 miles from Shawnee, OK and I think one touched down there...one person killed. I got a call from her about an hour ago and she told me she got some pretty high winds...tossed some items around. The power had just come back on,

Your friend should get his oil changes at the Ford dealer for the life of the truck. And if the dealer doesn't use the right Ford spec'd oil, report him.

I would say that if you think the dealer pulled that stunt it's a sign that you should go somewhere else for service. Maybe it's time for a hidden camera and a return trip by someone with a vehicle in known condition.

If the storms hold together we hit today everyone's going to have a full week of it. Heavy snow in the Rockies and hit 3 or 4 rather strong storms every 100 or so miles till we got to Ely, NV. Be safe everyone!

There was a thread on RLI lubricants that were very resistant to the effects of fuel dilution is an Audi. There was a lot of analysis work done by someone named Terry Dyson in Texas. http://www.renewablelube.com/

A rough bunch! "it only happens once in a blue moon." Like trying to show a service adviser an intermittent problem. You may not get many suggestions for the valve tick noise.
