Does anyone know why all the oil websites recommend 15w-50 and 20w-50 for this car?

Just a suggestion.... buy the Walmart brand air filters (which are way better than 3M's for your hvac system) according to our hvac guy. And run a cheap air cleaner that has a $10 filter that you have to replace once a year. Just a thought.

Honestly, it is not that much hotter than in parts of the USA. And with a liquid cooled engine the operating temps are about the same. So do yourself a favor and buy some oil on the internet, use 10w-30. It may be more money but your car will last lo

No oil leaks to be seen or though of. Doesn't consume it either. Only reason I used royal purple this time was because they gave me 10 quarts for 20$. Trying to clear the shelves. I may just go with I'll synthetics then. Do y'all think I should go wi

My GS is at 184k miles...... I never used high mileage oils myself. At work we stock Valvoline so I have dumped lots of VML is various cars.

you will NEVER sell them in Fayettenam. I spent 4 years down there and got less than 1 inch of snow. You will need to ship them to sell them. Sorry

I'm guessing QSUD will be cheaper and easier to find; so I'm going that route. Kendall's is a good oil but I see no need in fretting over the two.

People recommend this filter all the time. They swear by it. Why? You saw the video, how is that possible? Because they are relying on brand name, an assumption that because it says "Toyota", its the best. Don't get me wrong, I'm not an OE

I sold 4 of the same tires i6" with less than 2 months on them and not even 3k for a Camry/Solara last Nov in the North East for $150 for on Craigslist. Used is used, no offence but the price is too high.

They really don't build them like they used to. I'd go for the full rebuild. If you are going to drop the time and money into it, just go ahead and do it. If done right it should last at least another 30 years.
