good deal in Canada I guess, 25.17 for a 5 quart jug at walmart currently.
American prices aren't relevant.
Ultra costs 74 bucks for a 5 litre jug and 16+ for a litre.
M1 in the 5 quart, not litre jug costs almost 50 bucks.
Pp and qsud in the 5 litre jugs just went down in price at Walmart to 40 bucks a jug.
Pp and qsud can be found every couple months on rollback at 22 a jug. Some part stores have unadvertised sales and those same oils can be found for 22 again.
Oils cost big bucks here. Amsoil off the shelf is 15+ bucks. Can't even find m1 0w-40 in jugs.
That's why if I'm actually buying a 0w-40 I buy liqui-moly from napa. It's less than 50 bucks for 5 litres.
I got lucky and found Belgian Castrol 0w-40 for 28 bucks for a 5 litre jug.
So ultra at 5 bucks a litre is a dream price considering regular price is 15 per litre even when buying a 5 litre jug.
Our conventional oil regular prices are minimum 22 for 5 litres.
So now you'll understand when a Canadian member gripes about the cost of lubricants, and why many of us are trying to extend our intervals.
