Last set of tires I bought were Yokohama about a year ago for the wife's car. Best tires I ever bought so far, but they set me back $500 with alignment, mounting, balancing, road hazard and tax. I really don't want to spend that kind of jack right now.

I was looking on ebay for a set for my car 225/60/16 and I found a set of Nexen CP641 for $267-FREE Shipping. I can have them mounted and balanced locally. They are H rated 400-A-A. The question of the day is:What is your experience with Nexen and would you recommend this brand?

These are an inexpensive tire that are sized in z-rated sizes but do not perform as well. They look pretty decent and are cheap.

You can buy them at wal-mart in canada very cheaply.

That's $66.75 ea., same price I sell an average, run of the mill,(Doral) foreign made tire for. Mounted, balanced, new stems,AND road haz. warranty. If you shop around in your area, I'll bet some independent has them that cheap also.
