This product has this makeup-
Ethanol 65%
Benzyl Alcohol 25%
Acetophenone 3.4%
Di(ethylene glycol)dibutl ether 3.3%
Other miscellaneous 3.3%
My question is, is there anything that would affect my
engine long term wear?
This is a product (fuel additive) I am considering trying
in my vehicles, supposed to increase milage but I am concerned about long term affect.

I wouldn't worry about the mileage in a '53 Studebaker anyway.

Ha, it's not for the 53, that one gets in the low 20's with the v8 and overdrive.
Yes, it is supposed to be a fuel additive for mileage. I was going to try it in my 4runner and Jetta diesel.

This is the response I got when I asked about long term mileage testing.
(The primary difference in ME2 and what is in the marketplaceis that ___ is a hydrocarbon based product.
It does not consist of mineral oils, solvents, or is not water based as are the majority of the other products in this category.
Me2 is also not a detergent based cleaner, nor is it a synthetic based lubricant.
Me2 continually breaks down long chain molecules that are are typical to petroleum based fuels into smaller particles,in turn allowing them to burn more completely.
This process will allow for a continued gain as long as conservative driving habits are continued, and weather conditions do not change drastically.)

remarks?
