Does Pennzoil Platinum 5w40 meet Volkswagen specs?

I'd like to try the PP 5w40. Does it meet VW specs (502,etc)? Their website doesn't say specifically.

It is specifically recommended for BMW, Porsche, and where Mercedes-Benz 229.3, VW 502, or VW 505 .00is required. PENNZOIL® SYNTHETIC EUROPEAN FORMULATION surpasses the performance requirements of API SL/CF and ACEA A3/B3. PENNZOIL® SYNTHETIC EUROPEAN FORMULATION can be also be used domestic vehicle applications that recommend API SJ, SH or API SG. PENNZOIL® SYNTHETIC EUROPEAN FORMULATION is only available in SAE 5W-40 viscosity grade.

• Meets MB 229.3, VW 502, and VW 505.00 specifications

Thanks for the info! I looked at the oil store site and the prices are pretty good. I think I will oreder from them unless I can find it cheaper here locally.

That's the only site I've seen this Euro at, yea good price. Napa may be able to order it.

I would like to know the difference in composition to the non-Euro stuff (PP and QS).

My local NAPA stocks it on the shelf. It is the only place that I've seen it locally.
