prestone 0 to 60 octane boost seems to work

added the recommended amount into the tank of my Buell XB12S motorcycle and I havent heard any pinging since...havent tried really heating it up like going on a cruise or anything yet but I went from hearing a bit of knock to none on my daily ride.
I'm going to go back to strait 92 and see if its true.
I bought the boost from Walmart. the bottle says it has MMT

Try running a fuel system cleaner, your ping is most likely from deposits.

What does Buell recommend?
I'll bet 93 or so.
A scooter like that needs to be driven hard to keep it's innards clean, BTW.

Buell recomends 91 actualy. witch is fine on a new bike but
with normal deposit build up it tips it over that requirement. its a hot running air cooled engine with 10-1 compression. the big harleys dont have as much of a problem because they have lower compression
