Where can I find an chemical analysis of SLOB? Who makes SLOB and what does SLOB stand for? I'm considering this oil additive vs VSOT. A search for SLOB turned up not much. Thank you. Ed

Street Legal Oil Boost is SLOB.
Here's the analysis from the VOA board.

Here is the data from a fresh sample of the SLOB in the pink bottle:

Parameter: VOA Data (Manufacturer's data)

Zinc: 4898 ppm (4700ppm)
Phosphorus: 4921 ppm (4300ppm)
Calcium: 4279 ppm (7800ppm)
Moly: 0 ppm (0)
Vis @100C: 29.5 cSt (28cSt)

The lab report also showed:

13 ppm magnesium,
11 ppm silicon,
5 ppm sodium, and
3 ppm iron.

What is the dose to make your oil have the levels of zinc as oils in the past? (amount of slob per quart of oil)

Whole bottle. What in the past do you want? SL was around 1000 ppm typically. SH I think was around 1200 ppm. How many quarts does your car take? Are you using SM oil? On 5 quart system and SM a whole bottle should put you close to 1200 ppm. Just divide it out, 4800 ppm in SLOB - 800 for SM, so the 4000 ppm of it gets spread through all the oil. One pint in a 5 qt system is 1/10 so 4000/10 is 400 ppm boost.
