BF Goodrich Long trail AT cracking

Hi: Is the reason that I put tire dressing on these tires cause the cracking. It has still good tread. Do I have to replace them. What do you recommend for Jeep Cherokee not seeing offroad.

four years old and 45K on it. Is the code found the side wall that says temp A traction A tread wear 440?
 
Date code is last four #'s after Dot. ww/yy. There's cracking and then there's CRACKING ! Picture would be a great help, might even get Capriracer to comment.

But you should be aware that cracking is the natural degradation process for rubber, much like rust is for steel. So some degree of cracking is to be expected.

Plus it also depends on where you have it.

BTW where you live has a great deal of effect on the rate at which the rubber deteriorates - and therefore when the cracking appears. Based on what you have told us us, the tires are not too old for MA. But if you lived in AZ, that might be another story.
