I am using their LDX 5W-40 oil because it meets VW 502.00 Oil Specs for my 1995 Audi 90 V6 12v engine.

Maxlife Synthetic meets it. With Synpower, only the 5w40 and 20w50 meet it. That supports what I already believed, which is that in the 30 wts Maxlife Synthetic is better than Synpower.

I just switched my Cadillac CTS-V (LS6 engien from C5 generation Z06 Corvette) from Mobil-1 5W-30 to Elf Solaris LSX 5W-30. Based on standardized tests, it performed a lot better then the Mobil-1 Caddy recommends.
